Overview
Nestled between some of Barcelona's most prominent venues, Shoko sits next to the beach and draws inspiration from a fusion of mediterranean and asian influences. With a lounge & restaurant aspect open during the day, the club comes to life at night and provides a large, open space to accomodate partygoers from across the world.
Black walls with splashes of red communicate a strong Asian theme throughout, with elegant parasol style ceilings. With delicate candle lit areas providing a welcome rest from the busy club, the venue has the ability to blend from restaurant to club through the evening.
More relaxed than many of its counterparts, Shoko is particularily busy during the early week and has previously featured many international DJs and artists for big room performances. With ample terrace areas facing the beach front, there is room to sit outside once the party becomes too hectic.
Ideal for larger groups, the club also features a VIP area overlooking the manin dancefloor and close to the DJ. Resident DJs play a mixture of commerical, house and R&B; to a international, tourist and local blend of people.
Shoko is particualry good on Mondays, and has previously played host to film premieres and concert after-parties, therefore staff are well rehersed in delivering excellent service.
Will I be able to gain entry without guestlist or a table reservation?
No - every club featured is strictly guestlist or table reservation only. Entry is always at the door's discretion based on the clubs entry policy, however table reservations take priority admittance over guestlist reservations.
What do I do when I arrive at the club?
If you have a table reservation, you inform the door host who will direct you to the queue-jump area for tables. When prompted, you quote the lead name the table reservation is booked under. If you're on the guestlist, you join the guestlist queue and quote "Blu Nightlife Guestlist" or simply show your text message at the door, which means you have been placed on the guestlist.
What does minimum spend mean with a table reservation?
Minimum spend is the minimum order necessary to reserve the table. The table reservation is for the entirety of the evening and there is no charge for the table itself, simply you must spend the minimum or over the minimum spend.

The benefits of reserving a table are many. It allows guests their own private area to sit and be served drinks. It also often works out cheaper than buying drinks at the bar because with table reservations you purchase by the bottle. It also greatly increases the likelihood of admission and allows guests priority, queue-jump entry.
Do I have to pay cover charge with a table reservation?
Typically cover charges are added to the final bill, although this will depend on the venue.
What time do you recommend arriving at the venue?
Guests are recommended to arrive as close to entry as possible to avoid queues. Table reservations come with queue-jump.
What if people are arriving at different times?
With regards to table reservations, if people are arriving at different times they simply quote the lead name on the booking at the door. Should people be arriving at different times on the guestlist, they simply quote the guestlist name "Blu Nightlife."
