Just off the world-renowned Oxford Street, in a quiet little part of Fitzrovia, lies something of a gem of London’s night scene. We’ve talking about Project, the nightclub which has brought sweeping changes to the capital’s West End since opening in February 2012.
Even just walking through the double glass doors of Project can be an amazing sensation. The minimalist but sophisticated interior, unique lighting rig and booming sound system all combine to make for a positive first impression. No wonder so many visitors return…
Project regularly attracts international class DJs who love playing house and dance music as much as the club’s regulars love listening and dancing to it. The clubbing experience is hedonistic, but effortless – and a half a million pound refit in summer 2015 has just taken it all several steps further. Project has even expanded to Los Angeles!
However, there’s no need to embark on a flight across the Atlantic when, at the London-based Project, the best DJs from around the world come to you. The advanced technology of the club’s sound set-up only helps in getting them queuing up.
Every facet of Project screams “prestige”. It’s designed by world class interior architects and specifically caters for the London club scene’s elite clientele. They especially love the numerous secluded and atmospherically lit VIP sections. Why should they settle for less?
Want to be part of this Project? Then head down on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday for the club nights. The club has capacity for up to 330 guests and is open from 11pm to 4am. Membership of Project is available strictly at management’s discretion – but what an amazing prize if membership is indeed bestowed on you!
As far as the dress code goes, stick to smart casual and leave out the sportswear. Oh, and ladies – you must be wearing heels when you arrive!
Will I be able to gain entry without guestlist or a table reservation?
No - every club featured is strictly guestlist or table reservation only. Entry is always at the door's discretion based on the clubs entry policy, however table reservations take priority admittance over guestlist reservations.
What do I do when I arrive at the club?
If you have a table reservation, you inform the door host who will direct you to the queue-jump area for tables. When prompted, you quote the lead name the table reservation is booked under. If you're on the guestlist, you join the guestlist queue and quote "Blu Nightlife Guestlist" or simply show your text message at the door, which means you have been placed on the guestlist.
What does minimum spend mean with a table reservation?
Minimum spend is the minimum order necessary to reserve the table. The table reservation is for the entirety of the evening and there is no charge for the table itself, simply you must spend the minimum or over the minimum spend.
What is the main benefit of reserving a table?
The benefits of reserving a table are many. It allows guests their own private area to sit and be served drinks. It also often works out cheaper than buying drinks at the bar because with table reservations you purchase by the bottle. It also greatly increases the likelihood of admission and allows guests priority, queue-jump entry.
Do I have to pay cover charge with a table reservation?
Typically cover charges are added to the final bill, although this will depend on the venue.
What time do you recommend arriving at the venue?
Guests are recommended to arrive as close to entry as possible to avoid queues. Table reservations come with queue-jump.
What if people are arriving at different times?
With regards to table reservations, if people are arriving at different times they simply quote the lead name on the booking at the door. Should people be arriving at different times on the guestlist, they simply quote the guestlist name "Blu Nightlife."
